Un experience not to be missed
Casa Leon is an exceptional experience. There are many beautiful vista points on Isla Boca Brava but, the location of Casa Leon is unique in its' spectacular vistas of the archipelago and fabulous sunsets. The Casa is surrounded by dense forest that is home to howler monkeys and many bird species. The sounds of nature; wildlife, ocean waves and the breeze in the trees, are all the surround you at Casa Leon. The Casa is perfectly designed for complete enjoyment of the environment, the open floor plan with expansive doors that fully open to allow for vistas and breezes from all points. The bed, lounge chairs & dining chairs are all very comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping at night with the patio doors fully open and the ocean breeze wafting through. The bathroom is spacious and bright and the kitchen has everything needed for a delightful stay. The laundry is a huge convenience. Local managers, Mary and Perry, are delightful hosts and helpful for anything you may need coordinated. Casa Leon is the perfect Panama nature experience, a place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the environment, an experience not to be missed.

Beautiful sunset
It met our desire for quiet, close proximity to the water, and beauty. Waking to the howler monkeys at dawn, and watching them travel by the house in the trees was great, and the sunsets were terrific. We hope to return.

Unforgettable
This was an unforgettable experience that everyone should try to do even for a few days . The views are incredible, the house is set up perfectly set back in the jungle a bit but overlooking the ocean. We had a troop of howler monkeys living right behind us and they frequently visited us while eating breakfast on the patio! It’s a bit challenging to get to when carrying all groceries etc over on day one but the hosts were amazing and assisted us with the use of a friends truck to carry our supplies . If you are staying for more then a few nights without help this would be very hard to do. There is a private beach below the house which changes in size depending on the tides. We preferred to walk along the coast to the right of the house watching the tides to a really amazing huge beach. If you prefer a trail that doesn’t include scrambling over some rocks there is a walking trail you can take. The entire experience was life changing . Leon was very easy to communicate with and offered tips for our stay. If we are back in this area we will be back!!

Terrific
Our visit to Casa Leon was in a word, terrific. Just as advertised! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's the perfect place for indulgent reading, sun, private ocean swimming and postcard sunsets. Nicola and Marina were especially helpful, super in fact! The trip from David via taxi was easy. We bought food at a supermarket and a fresh vegetable stand. The water taxi at Boca Chica takes you comfortably to Boca Brava in 10 minutes, lading you at the private beach of Casa Leon. We also used a water taxi to go out to several of nearby islands each with beaches and reefs full of tropical fish. We look forward to another visit, just like this year's.

Little wilderness
We had a fun stay at Casa Leon. The rental is as described. The host, Nicola, was very knowledgeable and helpful. All of the appliances were functional, although the water did go out one night. It was repaired early the next morning. The setting is incredible - the view is unforgettable, the locals are friendly. There were monkeys and tropical birds right outside the house every day. I would recommend this rental families who are accustomed to roughing it, as you are in a "little wilderness".

Wonderful
We stayed one week in Casa Leon and this place is just wonderful. Getting there is a bit complicated, but once you are there, you are rewarded with the wonderful experience of being right in the stunning Panamaniam nature. The house itself is perfectly equipped with everything you need to be self-sufficient for a few days. I would come back any time!
